disc throw

simply download the Sims extension then throw it away or use the disc again?

I want to buy the expansion pack for the Sims 2, but I really know how to use it and so pls reply

Usually, to start the game until you need to insert the disk that was installed recently. Not a good idea to throw in the expansion disc package, because you never know when you may need again, as if you get a new computer or whatever. As that has Sims 2 installed, you can have many expansion packs, along with, and a warning message when trying to open the game to be on inserting the disc to play the game.
